Pomona State Park

Recreation opportunities at the state park include camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, hiking and other activities. A pleasing mixture of plant life is found in prairie grassland, woodland, and lake-side environments, where enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of wildlife. The park is open year-round, but most facilities are fully functional April 15 to Oct. 15. A state park vehicle permit is required for every motorized vehicle entering the park. Behicles are permitted only on maintained roads and parking areas. Pets must be on a leash.
