1st Annual Luova Designs Fashion Expo

Saturday, June 30, 2012, Luova Designs, LLC will premiere the 1st Annual Luova Designs Fashion Expo. Our mission is to showcase emerging Midwest designer creations and modeling talents, while advancing interest and development of the region’s fashion and design communities. This exciting event will increase awareness for our sponsors, vendors, and local retailers, via various media services.
We strongly recognize the importance of higher education in the fashion industry as the vehicle to achieving the goals of upcoming designers and models. The Fashion Expo is supporting this cause by allotting $40,000 in cash, prizes, and scholarships to be awarded within our field of participants for each category: designers and models.
A portion of the proceeds will also support two charities, The Hope Light Foundation and Sharing & Caring Foundation of Camden County. The Hope Light Foundation’s mission is dedicated to communicating cancer awareness information to impact cancer prevention and cancer victim survivorship and to promoting cancer education and research. Sharing and Caring focuses on providing funds to a network of quality non-profit agencies to strengthen health and human services in Camden County. They generate financial support without interfering or limiting the fund raising efforts of the groups it supports.
We are currently in negotiations with various media, celebrities, designers, and photographers to present this event, packed with exciting varieties of exposure for vendors and sponsors, networking opportunities, great entertainment, and more. The Fashion Expo is going to be an exciting opportunity for everyone.
As part of our dedication and commitment to the community, the Fashion Expo will also host a food drive to be donated locally, to Hope House. Non-perishable donations may be brought to the event or dropped at Luova Designs offices, 2935 Bagnell Dam Blvd. Suite 221, between 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.
