Having A Pilgrim Heart In The Human FAMILY
Friday, March 30, 2012 to Saturday, March 31, 2012

A pilgrim heart is a seeking heart which desires an open and authentic relationship with God mediated through the human family.  Honoring the many "families" to which we belong and loving one another as God has loved us, we will practice solitude, contemplative art, story telling and group spiritual direction.
We will be using the text by Parker Palmer, The Undivided Life as a way to explore the authentic aligning of our inner journey with our outer life. This conference will address how the second half of life journey often looks and feels different than the first half. We will use creative art activities to allow the "imagio dei" to emerge.
This Conference is designed for the Spiritual Director, Superv isor or Pastoral Counselor who is working with others in transition between the two halves of the spirtual journey. This conference will provide encouragement and sacred space for those who listen and walk with others who are crossing the bridge. This retreat is a continuation of the Sacred Losses retreat offered in December. You do not need to attend the first retreat to register for this event.
