Mavi Casual Italian opened in 2006 as the innovation from two Italian families who already had been serving Kansas City for years! The Cascone's and the Defeo's found that they share a passion for great Italian food, using only the finest ingredients, served in a comfortable, but casual setting to meet the needs of today's time pressed/budget oriented food lovers. This concept is designed for the consumer who enjoys great Italian food served fast and at reasonable prices. The fast casual concept is our foundation, but the time has come for our Mavi concept to the next step. Mavi is now being served all over Kansas City through Mavi Catering.
